Wrap 'n' Pack are the manufacturers of paraffin wax coated papers in roll & sheet forms. The paper is moisture proof, non-sticky, biodegradable & heat seal-able. These can be used for wrapping confectionery, chocolates, breads, soaps, machinery parts (for rust prevention), candles & food storage as they increase shelf life of the products.

Wax is added to paper to make it more durable and moisture resistant. A thin coating of wax keeps the paper from disintegrating when it comes in contact with moisture, like grease or water. Wax is also added to paper to keep things from sticking to it. Chewy candies are often wrapped in wax coated paper to make them easy to unwrap.

The way wax is applied to paper is Roll-on or dry waxing where Wax is rolled on the sheet of paper using rollers

Wax Paper uses:

Soap Wrapping

Wax coated paper is oil free paper and it is used for soap wrappers and detergent wrapper so that it helps them prevent moisture.

Candle Wrapping

By wrapping colored candles in wax paper, its color won't rub off on your tablecloths and napkins. It would even keep your candles safe when you are keeping all your tables essentials together.

Germination Process

Wax paper is used with germination paper in seed testing to stop the moisture from evaporating. It is the outer layer for germination paper when rolled to be put in a germinator.

Confectionery Wrapping

Wax coated paper is oil free paper and it is used for wrapping Confectionery, Chocolates, Toffies and Cakes, so that it helps them prevent moisture & keep fresh.

Bread Wrapping

Waxed paper balances form and function -- it's the designer sofa of kitchen wraps, if you will. It allows you to wrap your quick bread so it looks elegant and also keeps it fresh.

Turntablists (DJs)

Turntablists commonly place one or multiple sheets of wax paper under their records to increase record slip and aid in scratch routines.

Oil Seals Wrapping

Wax coated paper makes the paper water and oil-resistant. So it keeps oil seal products from rust when wrapped inside the wax coated paper.

Moisture Prevention Packing

The wax provides a great barrier for preventing grease and moisture from getting through the paper, making it an extremely versatile product for wrapping a wide variety of food stuffs.

Printed Wax Paper:

Printing is done on roto gravure printing machines in a roll form. By using wax paper for your product packing, you would enhance the brand value to your product and it gives unique identity.

Benefits of Waxed Paper for Confectionery Industries:

  • Waxed paper is less influenced than plastic by seasonal influences on packaging production and processing.
  • Natural paper's stiffness and compressibility lead to less blunting of cutting knives. The waxed coating also acts as a blade lubricant.
  • Balanced stiffness and slip properties of the waxed coating enable even machine feed with a high tolerance to line speed fluctuations, instant 'start and stop', and high speed cutting.
  • It is possible to produce see-through packaging by using translucent paper with special waxed coatings.
  • High-strength twisting paper offers superior twist retention properties compared to alternative materials, and delivers the highest packaging speeds.
  • Waxed paper is an inimitable release layer for naturally-sticky foods - especially sweets. With the development of new vegetable based waxes the release properties have been improved compared with conventional waxes. In conjunction with paper treatment this release can be enhanced even further. The product life of naturally sticky products can be extended using waxed paper packaging.
  • Adaptable moisture barrier properties, reduced UV light transmission to prevent rancidity, and good seal integrity

Why Wax Paper:

Petroleum based waxes are very economical water-resistant materials and their low viscosity requires relatively minimal machinery cost for application at high speeds.
